HELEN B. SCHUTZ — Professional Organizer

Helen was born and raised in Houston. As one of eight children, she acquired the “organizing gene” in the family. As a kid, she coordinated neighborhood events on summer nights including trampoline shows and plays. After college, a job in the oil and gas industry led to a career in records management. Other jobs have included: medical laboratory courier, personal assistant, bookkeeper, small business administrator, property manager and now, professional organizer. Helen started her business in 2007 when she realized her skills and background were uniquely suited for professional organizing.

HBS Organizing (Have a Better Solution Organizing) works with both business and residential clients to produce organizing solutions that meet the needs and budget of the client. Helen is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), NSGCD (National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization), and is a certified paralegal. She is currently the librarian and membership director of the NAPO Houston chapter and volunteers with Friends of the Houston Public Library.

Helen follows NAPO’s Code of Ethics and maintains strict confidentiality when working with clients.
